Assist. Prof. Kazusa Beppu received 19th Young Scientist Award from Japan Physical Society
Kazusa Beppu, Assistant Professor of Transport Phenomena Laboratory, received 19th Young Scientist Award from the Japan Physical Society.
Dr. Beppu has elucidated the mechanism of active turbulence, one of the representative collective dynamics organized by dense active bacterial suspension, from the viewpoints of both geometric control by confinement and control by an external magnetic field. This award is given in recognition of his important contribution to the deepening of experimental physics of active turbulence.
